HELP SHAPE OUR DIOCESE'S FUTURE

The Search and Nominating Committee for the VIII Bishop Diocesan of East Carolina wants your feedback about the diocese and wants to hear your hopes for its future and its next bishop. The committee invites you to a LISTENING SESSION at 7 p.m. May 16 at St. John’s. And share your thoughts from home: take the Bishop Search Survey online. Your feedback enables the committee to develop a diocese profile for potential nominees across the country.

 

 

 

 

 

ARMY GROUND FORCES BAND CONCERT
Concluding their Chamber Concert Series, the Army Ground Forces Band brings their final performance of the series to St. John’s at 7 p.m. May 31. Performing classical, jazz, and contemporary chamber works, our soldiers will feature as conductors, soloists, and arrangers who arranged these pieces specifically for the band. This event is free and open to the public. Reception following (ages 21+). More details to come, but mark your calendars!

Worship with us on Pentecost, May 19! Commemorating the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Twelve Apostles and the "birthday" of the Church, we will feature a sermon by St. John's children and gather after service for cake and refreshments.
